Free Windows Activation

I've activated Windows using this method a few times but I'll make no guarantee that it still works. It's also not entirely above-board.

Step-by-step:

  1. Open Command Prompt (cmd.exe) as Administrator.
  2. Use slmgr /ipk to install one of the license keys at the bottom of this page. ("slmgr /ipk [key]")
  3. Use slmgr /skms to set a KMS server, I've previous used kms8.msguides.com. ("slmgr /skms kms8.msguides.com")
  4. Finally, use slmgr /ato to activate from the server. ("slmgr /ato")

You should see a pop-up telling you something to the effect of "product activated successfully" somewhere on it. If it doesn't pop-up or that pop-up says something else, try step four again; the server might have been busy. If you're still not getting anything then this probably doesn't work anymore—reach out of me anywhere and I'll find another method for you when I've got the chance.
